  • Castle discovered by chance passing by ... There you can not stop. Entry €4 but if you have the paper coop adriatica you pay 2.50. Unfortunately the castle was damaged by an earthquake in 2017 so you can not access alld towers and you can't make the walk on walls

  • This beautiful castle was built towards the middle of the 11th century as a fortified farm but over the centuries its intended use changes up to be today a recreational location for events or private (weddings). Is well kept by the municipality itself although lately was affected by the earthquake shock of 2016. Also serves as a location during the commemoration in costume (early may each year) of the battle of Tolentino of 1815 between the troops of Joachim Murat and Austrian troops. To visit!!

  • Nice castle, not very much to see inside
  • Eight of us from the US arrived to tour the castle on a rainy day only to find out it was closed for the day. The attendant felt so sorry for us that he open the castle just for us. What a wonderful experience this was to tour the medieval tower and dungeon and museum without the normal crowds. the climb up the spiral stairs to the top of the tower was scary but lots of fun. The castle is well preserved and restored. the museum was well laid out and informative. A very positive experience. -keith Marengo from Novato California
  • Castle well maintained, even after the earthquake that struck the area around. Is an old manor born as guest quarters of the Cistercian monks of the nearby Abbey of Fiastra, used, later as a fortress by the family of Rodolfo II da Varano di Camerino realizing the strategic potential of the site. Do not forget the reenactment of the famous battle of Tolentino

  • The castle is small well renovated, excellent location for conferences and conventions. The entrance is accessible with wheelchair, unfortunately the architectural barriers, however, prevent wheelchair access on the first floor, which houses an archaeological museum. After the last earthquake can't visit the keep, a real disappointment!

  • A nice medieval site is unfortunately not entirely visitable because of the earthquake. Like any self-respecting Castle has its ghost. We found for the view a knowledgeable, friendly, and nice girl. Definitely should see
