  • Along the streets and alleyways of Todi, the square is displayed in all its beauty until we're in the middle. And then it's a treat for the eyes see the houses that are like walls all around and the Cathedral of the Annunciation and the Palazzo dei Priori facing each other, one at one end and the other in front of the square. Everything is built with typical Umbrian style that gives it uniqueness and haul in history.

  • Piazza del Popolo is the location where you can observe the life of city residents as many pass and stop casually to update your conversations. In addition there are the beautiful historic buildings including the Duomo and the Museo Civico. This beautiful city has a small influx of tourists which makes it nice and quiet. Go!!!

  • Without a doubt one of the most beautiful and characteristic squares in Italy, rectangular in shape, decorated with splendid palaces of the middle ages, captures for the eye view of beautiful staircase surmounted by the duomo, all unique for the canons. Other beautiful buildings the girdle, like Gothic Palazzo dei Priori and its Square Tower, then the captain's palaces and the people and again the Palazzo Cesi whose architect is Antonio da Sangallo the younger. I was a little disturbed when I visit that in the square, also in the central area, there were parked cars; I completely understand the parking problems in Todi, but this square should really be pedestrianised, our historic centres need that traffic is turned away from them. Still a beautiful square, to live in any time of the day.

  • A beautiful medieval Umbrian hill town. The piazza is quite large and picturesque. The Duomo has a very large fresco inside looks like inspired by the one in Sistine chapel. Worth a visit.
  • One of the most beautiful piazzas in Umbria
  • A great medieval square with a fabulous atmosphere. Well worth a visit as the whole town.
