  • Secure source palecristiana Temple, probably built on earlier Etruscan structures. In 1292 began work to turn it from Romanesque to Gothic. The work lasted more than a century and only the lower part of the façade was completed in 1436. The continuous wars with Orvieto and other towns caused the lack of funds and because of this the top of the façade remained Romanesque. The Interior has three naves and chapels you can admire frescoes of the Umbrian masters including Masolino da Panicale. In the sacristy is buried the Beato Jacopone da Todi. From the rock adjacent to the temple you can admire a magnificent panorama.
