  • Beautiful church, city symbol, stands on the cusp of a beautiful and impressive staircase. Its construction dates back to the 12th century, initially, then renewed in later centuries, particularly the rectangular façade with three rose-Windows and the three Gothic portals. The austere Interior has three naves in Romanesque style, with a further small aisle built in the 14th century on octagonal pillars. Retains some works of Spain and Giannicola di Paolo. Visit the crypt to pay through the turnstile.

  • The Church probably built in the 11th century, on the ruins of a pre-existing Roman building, is in Lombard style. 13th-15th centuries, almost completely renovated and changed within in the 16th century, it was converted in the mid-19th century, and restored in 1953-1958. The cathedral stands atop a staircase and on the façade stands out the impressive rose window, jewel of the sixteenth century. The three portals are decorated with splendid friezes and on the bezel of the middle one is the Group of the Virgin and child, attributed to Giovanni Pisano. To the right of the façade there is the Bell Tower of the 13th century. The Interior has three naves, with a Latin cross plan, and a fourth nave built in the 14th century. Among the important works of art kept here you can admire the baptismal font of Piero di Moricone, 1507; a fresco by Ferraù Fenzoni, 1596, depicting the last judgement; the wooden choir of Anthony Bencivenga, and son, built between 1521 and 1530; the pillars of the apse, two plates of Spain, and at the baptismal font, another table with the same Spain, depicting the Trinity; three statues of the school of Giovanni Pisano; a 13th-century Crucifix of the Umbrian school, painting on wood, in the Cappella Cesi; a beautiful wooden choir, carved and inlaid by 1530, Antonio and Sebastian Bencivenni from Mercatello. The 12th-century crypt preserves a wooden crucifix of the eighteenth century and many tombstones.

  • Construction typical of the period in which it was made, and well positioned in piazza del popolo where makes the masters the municipal Palace. A Pearl of Umbria that goes visited and preserved.
