Short day trip from Rome. Totally mesmerising. Don't need to have any specific interest in Italian history to appreciate the astonishing beauty of the gardens, their numerous Renaissance fountains or the stunning interiors of the house. An inspiring and romantic few hours can easily be lost within the magical estate. Absolutely recommend for all ages and seasons although people with mobility issues may struggle to take in the sprawling gardens over its many levels.

A must-see UNESCO heritage site. It is highly recommended to spend at least 3 hours visiting the villa and gardens. The gardens are abundant with water, fountains, statues, ponds, flowers and lovely seating areas. The villa and gardens are spectacular and visiting them is a sheer pleasure. The level of preservation done at the place is exceptional. It can be reached in a 40-minute train ride from Trimini.

Visiting in October 2021, mid-week, mid-morning - we enjoyed the views mostly unobstructed by other guests. These aging fountains are well maintained and largely functional. The extent of the grounds are manageable for walking and breathtaking moments are many.

Amazing and beautiful Villa and Garden. You need between 3 hours just to enjoy the place properly. A full day if you wish to take your time. Very much recommended. ❤️

Beautiful gardens, lovely waterfall... The paintings inside the villa were a bit creepy though... Seemed like the curator had an unhealthy obsession with death... But the gardens are lovely... Overall the trip should take you around 3 hours... I would say definitely come here if you're around in Rome to see the gardens... The fountains are lovely..
