One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. The water effects are spectacular. The Interior of the villa leaves a little to be desired. Could have a bar/restaurant inside. Also the reception would need improvements. I think they did a job of promotion of three large villas of Tivoli (Este, Gregorian and Adriana) maybe gain all. However the five bullets he deserves it

Spectacular Villa, clean and organized. Recommend a visit to tourists who go to Roma, inter alia in Tivoli we eat very well. The ticket price is €8 but it's worth it because if you can spend an entire day

We spent the morning in this wonderful villa remaining fascinated by the spectacle of the fountains which are harmonized with the Greens and manicured gardens. The rooms of the villa are all frescoed, kidnap them look arousing AWE and magic. I highly recommend visiting this UNESCO World Heritage site.

  • An exciting place worth visiting and seeing the interesting and beautiful fountains that function with natural water pressure instead of using machines. The gardens are great and we ask why are such structures no longer built in this period.
  • Amazing gardens and fountains. Great for relaxing and soaking in some of the XVII century splendor. Well worth the admission price + the train ticket. A breath of fresh air compared to the crowded piazzas of Roma.
  • It is easy to spend hours here walking around the gardens. The villa itself is large but the interior is not that exciting, except that it was built on top of something even older. The fountains and plants make for great photography.
  • Fantastic place to visit on a day-trip from Rome, particularly if you combine it with Villa Adriana. The gardens and water fountains are spectacular, all driven by gravity! The views are well worth it too. It can be hard to get to, but the Metro from Centrale combined with a bus will get you there.
  • Just amazing, beautiful site! The photos don't do it justice. There are so many little details you only catch if you're there.

Where to stay in Tivoli

Tivoli is so close to Rome that you can easily explore it from one of the capital city's comfortable budget hotels. If you wish to stay in Tivoli itself, consider booking your room at a family-run inn, an affordable alternative to the area's more expensive big-chain hotels. Most of the city's hotels are located outside the historical town center, so if you want quick access to Tivoli's tourist sites, try to stay near a public bus or train station, or consider renting a car for the duration of your trip.
