  • In Tirano, a Italian town with less than 10,000 inhabitants, at the foot of the Alps, almost on the border with Switzerland, lies this charming church suit and cozy environment whose construction began in 1505 and lasted 23 years. His delicate exterior does not reveal the beauty who guards the interior with convoluted paintings in addition to ceilings and walls in decorative high relief and a huge Baroque organ that impresses by its magnificence!

  • Our group visited this solemn basilica yesterday and it really touched our hearts when a mere farmer seeking assistance from our Blessed Mother Mary. BVM made an apparition to the farmer and requested a church be built in her honor and the farmer's request will be granted. Not just the farmer's family but the whole community hold forces to build a church in 1500's. In 1958, the church built a bigger one to accommodate the growing community. Now, although it's not a popular as other churches honoring the BVM, pilgrims in hundreds and sometimes in thousands flocks to this site and gain indulgences.
  • Beautiful church.
  • If you switch from Tirano is worth visiting, the organ is the main attraction. Definitely crowded with tourists on holidays

  • A prayer in the sanctuary and a ride around the altar of our Lady where there is testimony of the apparition leaves a lasting impression.
