  • The climb to the sanctuary is not difficult and can be done on foot (it is also accessible by car). Over the visit to the shrine, I recommend to go to the cross. In about 15 minutes you get on top of the hill where you can enjoy a beautiful panorama.

  • Easily accessible by car but I recommend a healthy walk (15 minutes) since at least parcheggione below to enjoy the chapels along the steep path that represent the mysteries of the Rosary and with more pleasure from the beautiful view of the Lake. The old sanctuary, is cured and exudes a serene and calm air, peace and prayer. In the area there is also a bar where guests can enjoy a drink or something to eat. On the back there is the Hermitage and continuing down that path you reach the cross on Mount Sac with a further 20/25 minutes walk on a trail well marked. Continuing for a few minutes you reach a plot with a view hard to describe in words on the entire Lake Garda from Riva to Sirmione. Last note, on the route you will find plots of stakeout and trenches of the first world war for sure.

  • Panoramic position, requiring a visit. Buddist Council (in tank top doesn't make you enter) for entry.

  • the Monte Castello sanctuary is build high a rock. a steep road with hairpins leads to this beatiful building, doable with car and (mountainbike)bike (if you are trained). there are stairs for wanderers . behind the sanctuary is a great wander path to the cross on top of the mountain. from this cross and along the path you have a stunning View on the beautiful Lago di Garda!! be careful though, there are no fences to prevent from falling. this mountain has also played an important role in the war, we learned from the signs along the path. very worthwile to visit during your stay in this beautiful part of nothern Italy
  • Madness, that prospect. Spectacular access. Always an experience.

  • Nice view with steep walk up. The Church itself is unspectacular, but the views of the Lake worth the 500 m uphill (small road and walk with stairs, is good to deal with.

  • Gigantic views. Super steep road. Not easy to ride a motorcycle.
