Have been there several times. I recommend everyone to visit this place where each year to discover new archaeological excavations carried out. If you know a minimum of architecture and urbanism romana no need help: you can observe everything very clearly

After a visit to Narni and Amelia decided to go visit San Gemini the Carsulae archaeological site and we had the impression that the whole thing is left to itself ... but don't go away! After a short walk and stairs to do (if you have people with disabilities below does not assure you of the possibility to continue) you come to the ticket office/Museum/bar and pass the turnstiles there opens a beautiful scenery: the remains of the ancient city ... the State of abandonment continues to be felt but hold on! I see some people dig! Yes, they are some Australian students (of Macquarie University in Sydney) and Italian archaeologists headed by prof.ssa Jaye McKenzie Clark who dig the site for several years. If you speak good English approach: are people friendly and kind evi will illustrate the discoveries. Worth a visit the necropolis and the Church of San Damiano, built in medieval times with the Roman ruins of the city.

  • Very interesting site, beautiful park, remains intact the old Flaminian ... truly a step into history! Pity that as many "minor" sites are little valued and downscale from the Superintendent! Even the signs to reach the Park is almost non-existent. I would definitely recommend the tour and appreciate the commitment of local cooperatives as Goliath ... fighting against the "giant"!!

  • A place of great impact that could be even more developed for shows and big events ...

  • an archaeological park immersed in nature, visit good, closely guarded findings, I would cure a little bit more "experience" of the visitor.

  • Roman village that is partially and partly excavated. You can run across a real Roman road.
