  • Roman archaeological site where you can see remains of the Roman amphitheatre, Arch of San Damiano, the remains of the Basilica, the cistern and the original paving of the old Flaminia. You can also relax in the beautiful meadows including within its territory.

  • With the same ticket you had access to the Museum, the Archaeological Park and at a store. 1) the Museum consists of 3 rooms, interesting decor, shame about the lack of cleanliness (many dead bugs in the dusty glass cabinets). 2) the Archaeological Park, located in the countryside, you can visit it freely, moving independently between a building and another and this is very nice, fantasizing a bit you can imagine at that time. The ancient remains are charming but due to poor care for these, you will leave the tour with a touch of bitterness (plants that grow in the dig weeds covering old floors, some labels outside the buildings are impossible to understand how damaged). 3) deposit is a small room where they were herded utensils found in the excavations. An end in itself. In conclusion I would say that the historical and cultural material present in this area is impressive and admirable ... seeing him nearly abandoned to itself leaves a bit of bitterness but for fans of the genre are still worth a visit.

  • We were with friends in Chianciano. We decide to take a trip to London and from there to Carsulae. There we'd been years earlier, with children so young. I must admit it was a surprising encounter as the first time. A site that makes you go down in history. I don't know but I saw Herculaneum or Pompeii many places of simple past and no. Carsulae surely is one of those that you take more. Really worth a visit

  • Beautiful and well maintained. A little gem, this park with its Museum and a city to be visited, immersed in a green that serves as a pleasant backdrop. Recommended visiting!
