  • At the entrance of Tenno coming from Riva del Garda you can see immediately the old and austere Castle of Tenno place on a rocky outcrop overlooking the plain below where you can see Lake Garda.Il Castle is well preserved, unfortunately not visible because it is private property. Below the castle there is the village of Frapporte which is accessed by an ancient gate, is a medieval village with some parts well preserved and recognizable. Wanting to walk straight out of Frapporte lies the ancient Romanesque church deified in San Lorenzo, the outside well preserved and restored, the Interior being restored now. Interesting.

  • The castle looks impressive from the outside. Unfortunately, she is privately owned and must not be entered. Therefore, it is suitable only as a photographic subject.

  • I was this summer with my family, say that I was a little disappointed when I heard that was not open to the public the Castle because the owners are Germans who bought and made "private" ... A real shame ... but still being surrounded by the village, my opinion, it would have been nice to be able to visit. The village is very cute and quaint, we also say walking seems to be living in the past. The houses of the village were sold and bought by people "forestiere" (I state I live near Milan and ... coincidence we just met a delightful milanese, owner of an apartment for him there-inside the village and gave explanations and told a little story) Recommend a visit, because somewhere in the village you can admire the surrounding landscape.
