  • Beautiful village perched on the sea of the Gulf of Lerici. It is a pleasure to stroll in the old village, between streets uphill and narrow alleys that lead suddenly to an amazing view of the sea, where even the blocks breakwaters are seeing, both are fine grains and colors of marble of which they are made. Color is full and the country. The walls of the houses, flowers and vegetation are mixed in a concert of beautiful colors, enhanced by the blue of the sea.

  • Hard to say anything, you have to go there and be enchanted by his ways (alleys rather) of typical Ligurian village with colorful houses and the sea from the doorstep, with boats parked on the wharf. Lovely, no wonder we lived life if Mario Soldati, one that meant!

  • Our friends took us to visit this village, which didn't even name, perhaps because there are many other destinations more noble or high-sounding, but I must say we were delighted by the magnetic beauty of this place, thanks to the setting sun behind the cloud-grey sky and Palmaria which made it the perfect light to take pictures. Wandering the streets and alleyways silent (many homes are uninhabited this season) with in the air the smell and noise of the sea and each corner lie a glimpse of breathless scenery, until you get to St George's Church which dominates the skyline as a beacon and which lends the profile to the many photographers who crowd the rocks offshore in order to capture all the beauty. Places like this do you reconcile with the world and it is no coincidence if Mario Soldati had here the last few years.
