  • We have attended church service on a couple of occasions, so far. The service is on at 11am of a Sunday. Closed Saturday (rest day) even Gods followers need a day off. The Abbazia also has a tour at 3...  more »
  • Recommended route from people who appreciated an earlier tour. I admit that I knew existed but animated by curiosity to discover less touristy places we travel ... and we were not left disappointed. The last supper by Ghirlandaio is valuable as well as works inside the Church, the cloister, the kitchen, the garden. a few hundred meters towards greve chianti amidst the vineyards a votive chapel.

  • Nice place unfortunately the monastery seems to be closed due to a private function.
  • The guard was sitting lazy in a chair reading a book. Proceeded to shouting at us because we want to take a picture. The guard did not open the door to the cloister. Continued shouting at our children 2 and 4. Then closed the main door to be left alone to read his book and keep visitors out.
  • Bellissimo monastero con una storia millenaria
  • In the refectory you can again admire the last supper by Domenico Ghirlandaio
