  • The Museum of Taranto is a Basic Beanmont Bellacicco De time machine, with a track back leads the visitor through a magic portal. The Palace of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries atmosphere immerses us in a Marchioness; then, going down more and more deep into the Earth, traveling through a phantasmagoric layering of different periods, up to 706 BC age that dates back to the origins of the Spartan town of Taras, modern Taranto. Precisely in this period of history focuses the attention and care with which the Museum-has not only collected exhibits, but also built punctually the Spartan Taranto, valuing the traditions related to the origins of its territory. Finally, add the location overlooking the sea, the personal contribution and always new and creative initiatives of the engaging owner Dr. Marcello Backshall and the picture is perfect.
