  • Fantastic visit ... Nice to see a bit of the city of Taranto! To visit along with the House of Marchesa

  • I came back with pleasure at this gem forged by time and "donated" to the public by the visceral attachment to their origins and vigorous attention from the owner. With friends, I rode centuries of history oozing from every stone: from Spartan characterization of the site that can be seen from the benches of carparo, the evidence of the Roman period (Opus Incertum) from Byzantine vaults at water pipelines from the 17th century. Through a tunnel you can descend to sea level, see the remains of the ancient Greek walls and admire the crystalline Bay of the "great sea". It's definitely exciting to read the story through the remains that it provides us with great naturalness. and the small exhibit, be it a shard of pottery, a pottery fragment, a marble block. help breathe life parenthesis that no longer exists. Thanks for the pleasant visit ... and proudly wear the t-shirt "Spartan"!

  • Ended up spontaneously on the Spartans weekend at the Museum. Hard to see from the outside, it offers a huge collection of interesting props found otherwise difficult inside. Guide in Italian. Translation into English possible. Surprisingly also a wine tasting was offered at the Weekend specifically to the topic. 100%.
