  • A new stage in Taranto and therefore do not miss the Archaeological Museum of Taranto. The Marta, centrally located and easily accessible, is open on Sundays and I can guarantee that is very interesting

  • The Museum of Taranto manifested through his archeological finds, the wonders of ancient Greece that Taranto was the capital, a historical period that exalted all aspects of culture and art, our Museum talking rap. presents the magnificence through its exhibits and reaches a climax with the room dedicated to "gold of Taranto. Council really everyone not to miss the opportunity to visit it because surely will enrich their cultural background.

  • The opportunity of open museums made us discover a beautiful reality. Taranto, is usually known for other issues (environmental, health, etc.). But this museum is really a great asset not only for the local community. The Guide explained the history of Taranto and its region that develops in various prehistoric and proto-historic periods, Greek period, Roman period, medieval period and late Antiquity. To visit if you pass by here.

  • Really good to learn about local history. Well organised and interest. Really liked it and it's free the first Sunday of each month!
  • Stunning history here. We came on a day where two of the floors were closed for some reason not mentioned on their website. Definitely check in advance.
  • 100% worth the visit to Taranto to see this museum, extremely good layout and lots of history on offer.
  • Amazing collection- need more staff!
  • Nice and modern museum. Sadly more than half of exposition was closed. Beautiful collection but quite expensive (€8)
