  • The Mar Piccolo, identifiable as an inland sea, consists of two breasts ideally divided from Punta Penna Bridge. Certainly this is a rare site in Italy and the road along this waterfront, Circummarpiccolo, allows you to see up close the characteristics and landscape. If you visit Taranto, it is impossible not to admire this sea.

  • There's nothing to do there, Drove hour and a half for a picture. Just took a few photos and drove away.  more »
  • One of the 2 seas of Taranto, the city of the 2 seas. It is connected to the great sea from the Canal built in 1881. Overlook the arsenal buildings here and here are the military vessels under maintenance. It was an important naval base that has been transferred for several years in the great sea. But the mar Piccolo is important and well known for the cultivation of mussels, favoured by numerous fresh water springs (the citri) who are over 30. The Chadwick bigger, however, San Cataldo, lies in the great sea.
