Where to stay in Taormina

Perched on the side of a mountain, Taormina offers lodging options that range from family-run guesthouses and traditional B&Bs, to luxury hotels and private seaside villas. Staying close to the city center allows you to enjoy a broad selection of excellent restaurants and cafes, where you can experience the flavors of Sicily's local cuisine. To avoid the overcrowding of Taormina's central areas, which are packed with tourists all year long, venture deeper inland and consider staying at a quiet cottage or cozy private inn.

  • This sorrowful little Roman Theatre nestling amongst other buildings looks as if it could tell a lot of stories. Worth a visit
