  • The Cathedral of Taormina is a medieval church dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Bari situated along corso Umberto, making it almost a must given the location. The Cathedral is very simple and striking for its simplicity. Recommended.

  • A cathedral-fortress built around 1400, when Sicily belonged to the Crown of Aragon. It's very normalita, but once there is worth the visit. Interesting the main façade, restored in the 17TH century, Renaissance-inspired.

  • Exterior built in stone, no towers, the Cathedral of Taormina is very different from the traditional and rich Italian churches. Located in a square where there is beautiful view of the sea and a source. You can reach her by Corso Umberto. Images adorn altar and niches.

  • Nice little church in the town square, which offers amazing views. Great place to make some nice pictures.
  • Corso Umberto heads off from the Piazza del Duomo. It is the main shopping boulevard of town and great to just stroll down towards the Ancient Theatre.
  • From the main square in Taormine is great view. Magic italian place!
  • Beautiful one! You also have a great view from the square in front of it!
  • An old and beautiful church/ Duomo! It has an amazing fountain in front of it. And the place in it self is huge. Inside you'd find a few statutes of Jesus and Mary! And a sculpture of Jesus who has been crucified. The only thing I personally expected were a few paintings on the walls. It's really plain and simple. Other than that it's amazing!
