  • Only a few minutes from the city, about 10-15 min, you can explore the protected marine area of Plemmirio. In winter you can take walks and many excursions, including tours, enjoy the scenery and unspoiled spectacle of the reserve. In summer there are numerous gaps, about 30, some sand, but most of the rocks, where you can immerse yourself in waters aretusee. You can perform various activities from snorkeling, skin diving, diving in General.

  • Parco Marino Del Plemmirio was the treasure of our visit to Sicily. The panoramic views, climbing around and through old buildings, tunnels and boulders. Not recommended for very young children, but c...  more »
  • I discovered the Plemmirio Park only a few years ago, although he is not very far from the place where I live. Only minutes from Syracuse can be accessed at different beaches among them, you switch from sand to gravel, until the rock within a few kilometres. There are several entrances, explore them all in a day is impossible, some reserve of surprises and very beautiful places, while others are located near resort areas, therefore less "natural", but anyway this is places less crowded than the average of the most famous beaches. The water has never disappointed, very clean and clear, sometimes there is pollution due to incivility. The only discordant note in all this is the inability to enter either on foot or by car in some accesses since being privatised by the residents of the place. Certainly there are still things to improve, but still remains a very beautiful place, it deserves.
