  • Went to Syracuse and us cost find a parking free. When at last it managed to walk by the the helmet old and gave with the Museum of the Papyrus. In advance not seemed a very attractive place, but turned out to be a good visit. The Museum is part of a private collection, is exposed in a clear manner and with friendly staff who made us a demonstration of the manufacture of Papyrus, an audiovisual presentation where is relatava the historical process, and a few showcases that outlined ancient Papyri and drawings and paintings made on this material. I surprised an of the showcases in that documented that when the explosion of the Vesuvius buried cities and House, a good number of Papyri sobrevio. In addition you get with the entredo a good illustrated brochure.
