  • We were in September more than once. The market is small but you can find everything from classic fruit and vegetables to fish, meat, all kinds of spices, olive oil and many places to grab a snack really special. Especially, as far as I'm concerned, it's convenient to Park, but not to the Thales where you risk getting stuck but just outside, turning on the right and past the roundabout, you will find an open space used for parking, also cheap which is a stone's throw from the market. If you need to buy fish go to the fish market of the people!

  • The square is representing always a nice display of colors, sounds, big mess. The morning is the best time. There is a little of everything but above all there is an air of Sicily

  • The much-acclaimed market of Syracuse, on the island of Ortigia, it didn't look that great. I got the impression they were standing more to support the various eateries that offer you to eat that as a real market. And it was packed with tourists and local shoppers and vacuum confirmation comes from the fact that Syracuse is not Ortigia, but everything else inland. In smaller cities also have found far larger markets and lived.
