  • We went in June 2016 on a sunny but not hot. You will arrive in piazza del Duomo in Syracuse and in the background is this church. Come in, come in and join it. Inside you will find the "burial of Saint Lucy", painted by Caravaggio.

  • Worth a visit this beautiful church close to the Duomo and perhaps overshadowed by the Majesty of the latter. Certainly the prized piece is a painting by Caravaggio, which unfortunately you can admire a bit too far. Recommended.

  • Part of a beautiful square in Syracusa
  • Tile floor of the Church, dating from the time of its construction, it surprises the visitor with its colors. Behind the altar is the painting of the "burial of Saint Lucy" painted in 1608 by Caravaggio. Wonderful.

  • A Baroque church in size significantly smaller than the Cathedral, but there is a large painting of the "burial of Saint Lucy" painted in 1608 by Caravaggio.

  • Sincerely within is not beautiful, but still worth going to for at least two reasons. The first is given by the measures that often are hosted; the second, and far more important is the painting by Caravaggio which is just wonderful.

  • Simple inside but still nice!
