  • Santa Lucia is the patron saint of the city, the Church is Romanesque-Lombard style, well-preserved... ENC aso visit, definitely advisable to go also to the catacumabs.

  • How not to be in AWE in front of Caravaggio's masterpiece "the burial of St Lucia? This alone is worth the visit. I highly recommend a visit to this site.

  • So disappointing to travel all the way from the UK to this church only to find it closed on a Tuesday, despite notices saying it was closed only on Mondays.

  • Part of a beautiful square in Syracusa
  • Tile floor of the Church, dating from the time of its construction, it surprises the visitor with its colors. Behind the altar is the painting of the "burial of Saint Lucy" painted in 1608 by Caravaggio. Wonderful.

  • A Baroque church in size significantly smaller than the Cathedral, but there is a large painting of the "burial of Saint Lucy" painted in 1608 by Caravaggio.

  • Sincerely within is not beautiful, but still worth going to for at least two reasons. The first is given by the measures that often are hosted; the second, and far more important is the painting by Caravaggio which is just wonderful.

  • Simple inside but still nice!
