  • We were at lunch to 14.20 and to skip the line we decided to sit down to let us serve at the table (with a surcharge that is all) only one vegetarian sandwich (2 halves) because they actually very rich but I don't know if made from living and skilled hands of owner who still "impottona" those who stand in line. To drink a half water and a cold beer. And ... surprise ... Arrives in a glass from 0, 3 l the modest sum of 4 euros! Here's the "but" Beware the beer!

  • In this place all the senses are stimulated and satisfied. Every Sandwich, ever the same, deserves applause for as runs by the excellent Gaetano and his wife and meticulously chosen ingredients for a balance of exceptional taste and categorically linked to the territory. Also excellent dairy products are a temptation to which it is difficult to avoid, especially mozzarella, smoked ones. Last but not least, I add the sympathy, patience and availability of them all who manages to stay high all day considering their very long. I recommend to all those who pass through Ortrigia not to miss this appointment.

  • I wouldn't know where to begin, it's hard to describe the sympathy and passion that the owner takes to prepare sandwiches with fresh, genuine natural raw material, of excellent quality, the best sandwich I've ever eaten

  • Hands down, the best sandwich I have ever eaten. We waited 20 minutes and were happy to watch the artists in action. Sicilian bread with olive oil, sundried tomatoes, rocket, olive, heaping with local meats and fresh mozzarella (with mozzarella cream) topped with shaved pork cheek hit with the blowtorch before being wrapped in white paper and then devoured. Oh my! My wife and I split one but I dreamed of another half. We will be going back tomorrow for another of the chefs combos.
  • OMG...! What an experience! We had the chance to see Andrea, the sandwich maestro, in action. What a treat! There was a line, but waiting was delightful as Andrea gave tastings of cheeses and cold cuts, even throwing mortadella to some lucky customers, while making the sandwiches! Besides how delicious the sandwich is watching him describe the ingredients and the process and joking around with everybody makes this a must while in the area....he even gave 'small' free sandwich to bambinos
  • A bit of a wait, but definitely worth it. Fresh ingredients in a very large package. You're definitely getting your money's worth!
  • Beautiful sandwiches for VEGANS too! Granted it's a bit messy to eat, but WOW what a feast of flavours and colours!
  • He's a real artist showing great performance for guests and making very very large sandwiches. While we waited for an hour to get ours, we tasted various cheese and salami for free!
