  • The structure is left somewhat in disarray, it could better exploit, maybe doing some event within sight of the great acoustics.

  • Having discovered the arc of Augustus, do not hesitate to extend the ride to this amphitheatre, hidden behind a small church. We can guess the atmosphere that prevailed during the battles of gladiators.

  • As the Arch of Augustus, the Roman arena di Susa offers the opportunity to visit it almost without constraints. At the Center, you can appreciate its exceptional acoustics. Magnificent website but unfortunately a little neglected even to the incivility of some of the regulars.

  • Not the best example but maybe it was a minor town to the Romans but still nice to see.
  • Worth the visit
  • Alive history.
  • Not much to see really
  • The Roman amphitheatre is the second oldest of Susa. And free visit and is located just outside the center of Sousse. The Roman Arena has the shape of an ellipse of 45 x 37 m and is the smallest of Roman amphitheatre present in Italy. The Arena is surrounded by a brick fence that was to support the podium stands and inside is dug a narrow tunnel that connects four rooms the prison where Gladiators and wild beasts before the shows.
