  • We came here by chance along the villa. This church of medieval origin (albeit with some Baroque elements added to the renovation after the fire of the beginning of 1700) was built in the 11th century and the 12th century dedicated to the patron saint of the town

  • The crypt is lovely. Also interesting is the view from the outside of the apse. There are 2 ancient tombs. The rest is a style that I don't like, a baroque look

  • Beautiful and imposing structure from the Romanesque façade, on which opens a beautiful XIV century portal. The three-nave Interior, retrained in Baroque style, preserves the beautiful medieval crypt where you can admire the Madonna della Fornace, a marble Byzantine-style icon, the pillars of the nave, the frescoes in Giotto style of counter right. Belle works in the side chapels, on all fifteenth-century crucifix of the chapel of the right aisle. Admire the frescoed Vault. Don't miss it if you go to Sulmona!
