  • I discover this place quite by accident. Saturday morning we can do a guided tour. Very nice, friendly and polite, even very prepared. Sorry for such a long time the fortress was left untreated and even abandoned. Unfortunately this has left marks. Slowly and with much effort but are recovering and I'm sure you will soon return to its former glory.

  • The Rocca Abbaziale of Subiaco as we know it as the Borgia Castle was built in the 11th century on a steep hill to be defended better. Then during the Renaissance to become the House of Borgia and Lucrezia Borgia's birthplace, where then the 15th century and become property of the Colonna family until in the 18th century. Its gardens we can see and admire a beautiful view on the Valley of the Aniene River, where with its Romanesque clock dominates the Valley.
