  • I was Saturday at Subiaco where I visited several buildings including this simple church dedicated to St. Francis. Once you arrive at the humpback bridge of the same name just follow the signs along the river and two hundred meters we reach a staircase (at the beginning of what is a niche dedicated to our Lady) that brings on the convent ... The building is simple, quite linear and devoid of frills. The Interior large Romanesque-style frescoes depicting the life of St. Francis ... Open on Saturdays and Sundays for the masses during the week to ring a Bell in the hope that it will be received. ..

  • If passte from Subiaco, maybe because you are going to visit the monasteries in the area, I recommend that you devote 10 minutes to visit this bridge. Absolutely worth the money

  • It is said that, during the middle ages, in the ongoing dispute between Tivoli and Subiaco there was a single victory of subiacciani which cost the tiburtini just building this bridge over the Aniene

  • A bit creepy but it's ok.
  • Beautiful medieval bridge across the river Aniene. It is in excellent condition, kept clean by the staff of the municipality and by volunteers. In front of the door of Subiaco, visit it is very impressive takes you back into the past.

  • Wonderful. To anyone, maybe a little down in the dumps, in front of this lovely River Bridge can escape to write a poem.
