  • I state that in late October, to Monday, with a cloudy and with the Borromean islands and the Rocca di Arona shut to end seasonal activity, visit the Lake Maggiore is not the best. With this background, with my family, I went to visit the Villa Pallavicino Park, this one opened. The villa is situated close to Stresa and would be easily reached on foot in about 10 minutes. Being at the end of the season, we were advised that the Bar and restaurant in the structure were unfortunately closed. The garden and the Villa are in a really beautiful and the place is very nice. Being perched on a hill climbs abound for those with children to carry the stroller not ideal. The highlight is definitely the area where you can get in direct contact with animals, incredible. What less convincing are the look a bit "dated" in the collection and the price a bit steep for what it offers. Recommended if you don't have anything better.

  • I was a bit disappointed by this place with great potential but let some go. Animals kept so so so sad. The bar we stopped X lunch poor quality and many frozen products. Cold baths and totally inadequate for young children. As well as the playground.

  • Nice Park with a chance to see many animals also exotic and in some cases approaching downfall on cost and the fact that even though at the end of the season there were different animals ate lunch at the restaurant at the beginning of ascent and everything was very good

  • Nice place to bring kids to experience the outdoors. Expect up slopes on pebble paths to move around the place. Includes an animal enclosure with goats sheeps and lambs where you can pet them. Also has a nice garden with a couple of peacocks roaming around. A good 3hrs of entertainment for family with kids.
  • The park is vast, disposed on more than one level therefore keep in mind: you'll have to walk. The path is sometimes pure soil, not very stroller friendly, however you will walk in the shades of ancient trees, with a view of Lake Maggiore and the perfume of earth and flowers and every corner has a new great camer spot. Bring your children and let them discover the love for wild animals, there is an accessible enclosure with little goats, does and cute, splendid fawns. They can be fed with their own hay (beware, the goats are very friendly and curious). You will also see a number of exotic birds. The rose garden, with the ivy gazebos and flower beds is a sight to behold. On the practical side: the parking lot is spacious and free, there are many public toilets along the path and little restaurants or bar, you may also bring your own food.
  • Nice relaxing atmosphere, great views, and kids get up close with some.of the animals
  • Beautiful gardens!
  • Beautiful park to see and appreciate in all its forms. Animals, plants and flowers in the only Park close to Stresa on Lake Maggiore. You can't miss the encounter with deer, llamas and other animals free. Ideal for those who want to breathe the air of Lake Maggiore and stroll through the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. Having a great time and the staff is really nice (the bartender near the Lake of swans is very nice). Highly recommended!
