La Pelosa Beach, Stintino

(4.2/5 based on 5,500+ reviews on the web)
Well-known for its fine white sand, La Pelosa Beach offers views of Asinara Island. Go for a dip in the clear turquoise sea and look for fish. The water is not very deep, but you may sometimes encounter a strong current. Vendors wander up and down the beach touting a variety of trinkets. If you are not interested, simply ignore them or firmly say, "No, thank you." • Beach & Ocean great with colors only, but go out of season if you want to enjoy it, otherwise get ready for a metro style situation of Tokyo in rush hour

  • My review is all condensed in the title and the overall score is strongly influenced by the quality not excellent (it would take two separate scores for private one to nature would not have sufficed the 5 dots!). As an example, for parking fees the sum requested is significantly high (1.5-2 euros an hour) just to leave the car in Park, whereas at the beach there is not even a shower to get the salt off. Unfortunately the beach, because the erosion of the shoreline, extended no longer as they once were, so during periods of high flow you find yourself literally stuck to each other. That being said call anyway, who could, to spend some of your time for the scenic beauty is considerable and, at first glance, literally remove the breath when, finally, approaching you can see the emerald blue sea and the blue sky where you embed the tower and the island of Asinara (the latter in the municipality of Porto Torres).
