  • The Diocesan Museum of Spoleto is a reality of the territory that absolutely must be known by lovers of Umbria. The Diocesan Museum is centrally located, close to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, within the area occupied by the Archbishop's Palace. The Museum gathers works from many places in the Diocese of Spoleto-Norcia. Among the most famous works is the bronze portrait of Pope Urban VIII by Gian Lorenzo Bernini donated from the same town of Spoleto in 1644. The museum tour includes a visit to Hagia Euphemia, one of the most important and beautiful Romanesque buildings in Umbria. The Church, dating from the first half of the 11th century, belongs to the architectural phase of the territory of Spoleto that coincides with the period of greatest extent and power of the Diocese of Spoleto. The churches of the territory, have an aura of mysticism that makes them unique. An experience that enriches the soul.

  • Charming church in the sixth century, significant and wonderful, the inside is blank, but tells the Spoleto oldest!

  • Downtown Bistro just before reaching the stairs overlooking the piazza del duomo, there is this Palace, very discreet, the curia that encloses a beautiful Museum-pinacoteca. To visit!

  • Basilica with Gallery (Loggia intended to accommodate women), perhaps the only of Central Italy

  • Just a measly euros to enter the Church of don Matteo! And it's worth it all. Bare ... But full of charm.

  • I could see everything, but I found it to be a gem, like Spoleto among other things.
