  • going up from the marketplace meets this ancient Roman arch, well preserved and buried from the road and tucked away a bit from the houses.

  • The Arch of Drusus-the oldest construction of Spoleto. The arch was erected in 1 century AD in honor of Drusus the younger (Roman Commander, son of the Emperor Tiberius), on the occasion of his death. Near the arch there is a small descent-shows that the city did not strongly risen since then.

  • The side of the Temple of Saint Anzano seen rather strange construction. It came from the depths of the centuries Roman Arch of Drusus, built from stone blocks. On the back side of the visible remains of murals. It's amazing how Spoleto combines many different eras.

  • Fine example of Roman arch, located where the via Flaminia entered the hole of Spoleto (now market square). On one side is incorporated into the structure of some houses, on the other hand the property was released by subsequent structures (was incorporated into the nearby church built on the site of an ancient Roman temple) and brought to light up to the level of the foundations of the Roman era. -Site tables contain the history of the monument and restoration work carried out.
