  • The Church was built at the end of the 13th century at the behest of the Lords of Spilimbergo. The façade is characterized by seven rosettes. Along the northern side opens a beautiful stone portal, powered by Zeno from Campione in 1376. The Interior, with three naves, has numerous chapels, that preserve works of Joseph Heintz, Palma il Giovane, Gasparo Narvesa, Giovanni Antonio Pilacorte. In the central nave you can admire the ancient organ, for which il Pordenone created the decoration of cassone (1525). Overtime the frescoes, which decorate the sanctuary with scenes from the old and New Testaments, work of pupils by Vitale da Bologna, who had worked with the master on the construction site of the Cathedral of Udine. In the crypt is the tomb of the noble Walterpertoldo IV, which once stood in the churchyard.

  • the façade has more of a rosette and the Visual effect is very special because it differs from the others. Even within very beautiful frescoes and interesting the crypt under the altar.

  • Impress the size of buildings, old but very well preserved, in the midst of wooded spaces, grasslands, that show the wealth of the Church in those days. The visit is simple, there was no tabs, but touching.

  • The frescoes inside are very beautiful. Here, too, unfortunately I turn down the rating to the level that we found parking in front of the Cathedral's uncivil, making impossible any appreciation of the exterior. In such cases the local police where he is? The Pro Loco does not push to enhance the squares with monuments?

  • An example of significant art, the path of Pordenone. In addition to numerous relevant artwork, it houses one of the most beautiful you can see 1500 organs. Massive and harmonious at the same time.
