  • OASIS managed by FAI, is well worth a visit. The price of admission is amply justified by the spectacle that nature has to offer in this corner of the Sila.

  • Beautiful sunny day in the company of family and friends, beautiful giants of our beloved Sila, but again note reluctantly poor maintenance of the route and the poor dead trees now fallen for some time and some still poised ready to fall on the heads of some tourist! Goodwill is not enough it takes the head, look around what happened to hotels and restaurants! The hope is to die ... ...

  • We had a fantastic morning at this incredible Park where time seems to stand still. Absolute tranquility, penetrating colours. All punctuated by the noise of a falling pine cone or a squirrel pitch black that to our passage runs away annoyed. To greet us at the entrance to a delightful guide who collects the ticket fee, 3 € adults, 1.5 € up to 14th. Tell us briefly the history of the Park. We venture to a distance of approximately 900mt. The paths, bordered by wooden fences, are characterized by natural, often created steps with the same roots of these trees. Too bad he didn't have a map of routes or more detailed directions along the way. Sore point: you have to give up your furry friend, because although not shown on the site, to protect the reserve, but also of the dogs themselves (some plants may be poisonous), are not allowed to enter, even if trained or award-winning. A victim has been waiting all the time off that someone of his group would give him the change to visit him on the Park. Near the entrance, there is a House, where they are very hospitable. Public restroom with compensation of 50 cent. Bar and Tavern with local products. Possibility of horse riding along the nearby trails. Pleasant activity in the middle of the Sila.

  • Is a place to visit for those who stay in the area. A spectacular specially preserved forest with minimal human intervention. Access is free of charge, but it's only 3 euros (reduced for FAI members). The internal path, a path of wood, is cute and functional. Although the FAI, I found it inaccurate descriptions of various trees centenarians. On a negative note to the guy at the acceptance which we asked if it was possible to make the path with the stroller and we responded positively. It is not true, there are steps and bridges to overcome, so this made the visit uncomfortable. Accurate that otherwise is a simple and short path. Cute sign in, a short path from the road (300 metres between fields up to a place where there was the old spinning mill).

  • Unique place in Sila. Pines centenarians by huge logs and from the heights almost giddy. A jewel to be protected absolutely.
