  • In a typical alley Saleem a laboratory where past and present merge in works of extraordinary beauty, biblical scenes, popular, folk played in tiny size and detail, terracotta pieces made with passion and love, a must visit at least once. ---In a tipical street of Sorrento in workshops in which past and present become one. Beautifully made biblical scenes reproducted with passion and ability, every little detail is reproducted with sapience. Unique work of art made in terracotta. A place that must be seen!!

  • I never get tired of going in the workshop of maestro Marcello. It is always with a smile, friendly and beautiful creation of their pastors. True works of art!

  • Marcello is amazing! He creates the most beautiful sculptures out of terra cotta. His presepe (manger scenes) are nothing short of stunning for their liveliness and minute detail. When I was there I saw one that was about a foot and a half high, and next to it was a replica only seven inches tall. They were filled with all of the wonderful characters from traditional presepe. If you are in Sorrento, you have to stop in!
