Piazza Tasso, Sorrento

4.3
Named after famous Sorrento-born poet Torquato Tasso, Piazza Tasso is the main town square. Stroll through the piazza and admire the large Baroque church and statue of the patron saint of Sorrento, St. Anthony. Grab a classic Italian espresso or a negroni cocktail from one of the sidewalk restaurant and people-watch. Keep an eye on the outfits: The piazza is a favorite hangout for some of Sorrento's most fashionable residents. • Cute square, very well kept and clean. The calling card of Sorrento. From there it unravels the middle course of the city and around the square are the alleys where there are small craft shops. Could perhaps embellish it a little more.

  • This place was absolutely beautiful. It was in a prime location in the main square of Sorrento. 5 min walk to the main ports, 8-10 min walk from bus/train station, and right underneath there is an icecream and coffee shop. The breakfast was delicious with toast ham , croissant, coffee of your choice and yogurt. The room had fruit and water available in the room. The owner was extremely helpful when planning our excursion. I would highly recommend staying here! (I added a photo of our balcony view)
  • Great place, nice rooms but not big. Nice breakfast.
  • Myself and my wife had the pleasure of staying at Tasso B&B on the 15th and 16th of October and we can only say that Sylvanna and the young lady that prepared our breakfast could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable with fruit and water provided on our arrival. Breakfast consisted of cereal, croissant, toast, ham, cheese, youghart and coffee or tea. More than enough to eat and served exactly on time. I also had a road bike with me much to the amusement of Sylvanna but like everything else was no problem. All in all a great place to stay and in a fantastic location right on Tasso square. Thanks for everything Sylvanna. Regards David and Josephine.
  • This was a super nice boutique hotel. It is an updated version of an old building with a great location. The staff, Valentina, Elena, and others were incredibly nice and extremely helpful. Great value, great location and great people.
  • Stayed one night @Exclusive suite. Location is great(just a few minutes walk from the train station). Love the view from our balcony. We had Breakfast in our room. The owner was very kind and helpful. Thank you:))
