  • Recommend for anyone who was spending a few days in Sorrento, a visit to the Museum of wood inlay that hosts real masterpieces in this specific sector of craftsmanship that has greatly contributed to the international renown of Sorrento, especially in the second half of the 19th century. The artifacts are exposed so you can be admired in all their beauty and captions also help the layman to appreciate the skill of the artists who create them. Sorrento is not only natural beauty ...

  • QS Museum is one of the best things to see in Sorrento inside an 18th-century ... at the entrance to the curator is very helpful and gives you some information about how to look and open the various drawers price 8 euros but it's worth it all ... There are wonderful inlaid furniture and modern ... We walked calmly godendocelo because we were almost alone. not to be missed

  • It has an important collection of crafts from 1700 to date in marquetry. What I liked, most however is the exhibition of the subsoil, the current work on this technical. Very friendly owners

  • It was a nice midday beak to get out of the heat and get inside somewhere quiet. I wouldn't say it's a "must see" but it was enjoyable enough.
  • Amazing place! It is lovely to see such intricate workmanship up close. 4 floors spanning 19th century pieces to the present. Don't miss this if you are in Sorrento and remember to look in the drawers too.
  • Beautiful museum that has both collections from the 19th century and from today! There are three floors filled with woodwork as well as other local Sorrento artwork that comes from similar time periods and artists. Currently 8 euro per person to enter.
  • Really nice place
  • Is a treasure trove of works of Arts and culture in Sorrento Coast

Where to stay in Sorrento

Sorrento's seaside hotels offer an ideal base for exploring the Amalfi Coast and the nearby archeological sites. Staying right on the water's edge also means being mere minute from the historical town center, popular beaches, and Sorrento's famous harbor. For a quieter experience just a little farther away from the sea, book your stay at a private hostel or B&B. Many family-run inns in the residential neighborhoods offer access to private swimming pools and manicured yards, with secure parking.
