  • When from a place, from a beach, you come away with tears in my eyes is ' because it was all just perfect. Special thanks to Mario, a superhero from sweet heart. A hug to staff the entrances that has always been helpful and chatty. It took us a while to review, but we did it. And for good! See you soon! Giulia & Lauren (Italian and American with braid!)

  • After a nice walk to Sorrento and great attention to prices, we chose this beach for our day relaxation. 1 beach umbrella, 2 Sun beds and walk to €27 euros. I would have a great time refrained from spending it, but we did it because I was with my friend and her 5-year-old daughter. Average price being in Sorrento, but that money is not worth them having regard to the management of the beach. Maybe I'm used to the organisation of the beaches on the Adriatic coast, but we were completely left to fend for ourselves. Umbrellas rather crowded together, without any particular order. Beach too haphazard, rubbish around, no area for kids to play ball. The most absurd thing were the lifeguards that instead to supervise beachgoers, brought doughnuts and drinks to those who had no desire to take a walk. Thankfully we pulled up the beautiful bad. Overall I'm not complaining, but we'd spend more than a day.

Where to stay in Sorrento

Sorrento's seaside hotels offer an ideal base for exploring the Amalfi Coast and the nearby archeological sites. Staying right on the water's edge also means being mere minute from the historical town center, popular beaches, and Sorrento's famous harbor. For a quieter experience just a little farther away from the sea, book your stay at a private hostel or B&B. Many family-run inns in the residential neighborhoods offer access to private swimming pools and manicured yards, with secure parking.
