Il Vallone dei Mulini, Sorrento

(4.1/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web)
Just a short walk away from the busy city center, Il Vallone dei Mulini is a valley housing an old industrial mill, which is now overgrown with grass and ferns. You can look over the railing at these ruins day or night, as the attraction is lit up in the evening. You can’t actually walk near the site, but it is worthwhile to stop and look down on it. • Step to Sorrento at least three times a year, never did I realize this sensational attraction. The weekend passed my curiosity I said '' What's coming in that ravine, '' as I approached I couldn't see the bottom. I had a strange feeling of emptiness. The ruins of the old mill, the vegetation that releases green colors of every hue and caretterisca Valley in my view make it a unique, charming and perhaps a bit macabre. Truly amazing. The municipality should value it more. I didn't even know of its existence.

  • Amazing this environment, right in the middle of the city, stopping when you're strolling through the streets of the center of Sorrento since you're right near Piazza tasso

  • Came across by accident this walking from the hotel to the town centre. Very close to the Piazza Tasso. We looked down at it from the road side. Would not recommend anyone going down to the old mill. ...  more »
