  • The Museum Director made the visit only and extremely interesting! The detailed explanation revealed knowledge and details about printing in Hebrew that are not commonly found in textbooks. We have been given the opportunity to try printing with an old press, an experience that is not made from all sides!

  • In the historic centre of Soncino was founded one of the world's oldest Jewish printers to a Jewish family of Ashkenazi origin coming from Germany. Here was printed the first Hebrew Bible complete on 22 April 1488. The Museum has a collection of print machinery, characters, torchi and objects of Jewish culture. Not to be missed.

  • The Museum of printing is located in the historic centre of Soncino and it was really a pleasant discovery! The Museum is full of machinery which in the past were used to print books, documents, etc are held really well and accompanied by explanatory totems that tell their use. Eventually congeniality Museum Director explained how there had been printed the first Hebrew Bible. Not to be missed!

  • The strong point, an elderly person most likely volunteered very helpful and loving role which ran his country's lover, and generous with advice and explanations. The rest many items left around with few explanations of what it was and what it needed

  • The Museum is full of printing machinery from the early decades of the 1400 and up to the present day. Travel guide very prepared.

  • A valuable collection of tools that have marked the history of the Italian press, enriched by a curator who puts the soul in what he says. And is able to explain both to children and to the most learned, and leave something at all. Unfortunately, we arrived in a hurry (the parish, we wanted to see, was closing in a few minutes) so we chose not to accompany the Museum curator (that of her was more than helpful, however hardly survived an entire school class), but the Museum is very interesting for a quick visit and autonomous. Obviously, being able to, the guided tour is the greatest!
