  • If you stop to listen with your soul still feel the gunshots and the screams of those valiant sacrifice their youth here for what would become our Italy. Here it all brings to mind for those few years like me, the many interventions in the world of the Red Cross ... wars, earthquakes, tsunamis. Admiration and gratitude for those who daily works wonders in the world under the Red Cross

  • You reach the Red Cross monument along an impressive Avenue of cypresses. Next to the monument several gravestones each engraved the nation that has joined the Red Cross. Interesting intuition of h. Dunant, later the birth of this international institution, after witnessing the slaughter of battle, with dead and wounded left to fend for themselves. The skyline of the surrounding countryside.

  • I think almost everything has been - not said just yet of all! ;-))) As employee of the Red Cross in Austria was for me to visit it something like a "light", once this Memorial. You can't describe it, but as Rotkreuzler, you will get a strange mood... glad to be there!
