  • The Museum in the mountain is absolutely interesting and informative. There's a permanent exhibition of images of King Ortler. The yard stand in front of the Museum in the winter.

  • MMM invested in the mountain with many pictures and paintings around the theme "Mountains". Juval Castle liked me but considerably better.

  • Like other MMM even this site is interesting and at times emozionanete. Especially in this period projects a 30 ' movie that tells several shipments down East, including of course the crossing of the Arctic by the valiant Reinhold. Nearby you can see the yak that he imported, while on the whole the glacier Ortler looms.

  • The MMM in Solda is one of six museums created by Reinhold Messner in honor of the mountain. The Museum of Solda is centred on the theme of the ice. All interesting because completely underground the Museum tells with paintings and ideas on man's relationship with the ice, glaciers and the poles. To signal the presence (in winter in the Museum and in the summer at altitude, at the Rifugio Città di Milano) of different specimens of Yak that the Mountaineer resulted in Solda after one of his trips to the East. The Museum is accessible from the "Center" of Solda 5 minutes walk a walk but also has a small car park overlooking the entrance.

  • Messner mountain museums this is perhaps the smallest and the most particular. Museum subject matter is ice, celebrated through various art forms and movies. Some paintings are really evocative. There are plenty of memorabilia related to glaciers and polar exploration.

  • The Museum of the Messner Mountain Museum designed by Zaha Hadid company Located on the cliff grandstands in Corones, this museum is really a beautiful space "soaked" where we can learn more about geology as well as about the culture while standing at a height of 2, 3 km above sea level. This museum is really a tunnel through a mountain, on the one hand to visitors go on and the rest will overhang the cliff.

  • The Museum I found it mildly interesting. Few salt, many paintings, few exhibits. Interesting video on crossing Antarctica on foot, but to see it would be enough to buy the DVD.
