Cascina Maddalena, Sirmione

We were there in September 2022 for the tour and tasting. A beautiful property and everyone there was so friendly. The tour was informative and we did a 4 glass tasting. The tasting was accompanied by cheese, bread and olive oil and a delicious onion jam. A very relaxed atmosphere and they made us feel so welcomed. Elisa, one of the family members, stopped by the table to welcome us. Highly recommend!

While staying at the Yachting Hotel Mistral (small but fabulous and would highly recommend btw) we walked to this little pocket of history nestled in a residential area. The family has owned the property since 1924 and they've been making wine there for four generations. A family member invites you into their lives; explaining the location, the lineage, and the love that is put into every bottle. It's fully relaxing, without any "exit through the gift store" kind of feeling. We loved it!

Fabulous wine tasting with a tour of the vineyard. Very informative and friendly staff, we had a fabulous day! Would definitely recommend a visit. Wine was served with bread and cheese and the price for 5 wine tastings with a tour included was only €27! Extremely reasonable and worth it!!

Visited the winery yesterday. We had a great time there getting to know the people involved in making the wine. We took part in a nice and interesting tour of the small winery. Then we tasted five of the wines of Cascina Maddalena, including two very good Lugana wines. The wines were accompanied by a small selection of cheese, served with home made fig jam. Our host has been very kind and heartwarming. Will definitely recommend!
