  • Unfortunately it was not possible to climb because for some days yet closed for maintenance. Built during the 1300 and the other 87 meters, the Torre del Mangia you call this modocosi call because from 1347 to 1360 is such assignment to that Giovanni di Balduccio nicknamed "eats" to beat the hours; It was later sostituioto by an automaton

  • Great 360 degree view from the 360 top of the tower. There is a charge, we paid 20 Euros for 2 adults and 1 child (aged 4). The climb to the top is in 2 stages, you only need to pay for the second stage. The first stage of the climb takes you to a plateau where you can see an overview of the square BUT not a 360 degree view.
  • Moderately challenging hike up to he top but the vistas are worth it and the €10. Stunning views.
  • When you start climbing, you aks yourself why did I paid for this, but when you're on the top, it's all worth it!
  • The most famous Sienese building. Do not miss it!
  • Best view in Siena, definitely worth climbing!
