Housed inside a medieval monastery, Museo di Storia Naturale dell'Accademia dei Fisiocritici remains dedicated to geology, zoology, and anatomy. The museum aims to educate the public and celebrate the study of the natural sciences through its vast permanent collections and three rooms of regularly changing exhibits. The upper floors house the zoology section, which provides an overview of the animal kingdom with specimens of 600 mammals and over 2,500 birds. The lower levels contain a geological collection of minerals, fossils, and rocks, as well as displays of petrified anatomical parts.   • Nice because it preserves the charm of the old museums. In particular I found very interesting and unique exhibition of reproductions in clay of mushrooms.
