Where to stay in Siena

To enjoy panoramic views of Siena's historical old town, check into a luxury hotel in the city center. If you are looking to escape the activity of the main tourist areas, consider staying at a hostel or guesthouse just outside the central areas. Private multi-room villas in the residential neighborhoods offer landscaped outdoor space and secure parking. For something a little different and considerably less expensive, explore one of many B&Bs in the vineyards and olive groves of Siena's countryside.

  • Again like most places in Italy, this place is beautiful! Just take a look around at pretty much anything. History is thick and wonderful!
  • Nice fountain/pond fed by water from ancient aqueducts
  • Accessible from the street, open 24 hours a day, beautiful aqua reservoir with crystal clear water and a constant flow of water.
  • We stumbled upon this site; an old fountain with goldfish.
  • It's most beautiful at night.
