  • If you are in piazza del Campo, you can't help but notice the Fonte Gaia, which is located in front of the Torre del Mangia, in one of the most beautiful squares in the world. After admiring the source and life that revolves around, combine a visit to the Hospital of Santa Maria della Scala, opposite the Cathedral of Siena, in which are preserved the original components of the Fonte Gaia created by Jacopo della scented pine tree in 1400, and then completely rebuilt by Titus Sarocchi in the second half of the 19th century. Here you can see the details of the structure, you can know the history, as has happened to me!

  • Amazing place; we captured lovely pics; and spent good day with dearest friends on OCT. 2013
  • Horrible pizza and very expensive.. Don't go there!! The only good thing is the view over the place.
  • The fountain is a part of the Piazza Del Campo, water is very clear, the status reliefs are beautiful, these reliefs are 19th century copies of originals by Jacopo della Quercia. You can stand next to the fountain to watch the people in action in the huge plaza, and enjoy the coolness of the fountain at the same time.
  • Lepa fontana.
  • Nice reliefs...
