  • An amazing visit to a ghost town abandoned after an earthquake in the 1960's. It's both sad and beautiful at the same time and for a photographer - it was amazing!  more »
  • We have been doing over 500 hours more than 4 qs site photos. Indescribable place and awesome. Advice to contact Mr. Giacinto Poggioreale ancient association with which to arrange a guided tour. So it will be possible to visit the ruins and completely unreachable areas alone. In summer, bring water.

  • Much is not because they do not let you go to the village, although there are people that will jump the fence and it does; but you can see from above or from below and you get a good idea of the magnitude of the disaster.

  • Very impressive place to visit. The only flaw is that when I was there I (may 2016), yet was not adequate to receive tourists (crumbling buildings and rubble everywhere). Not suitable for children.

  • Very impressive site. Unfortunately overgrown.

  • Silence and rubble, what sadly remains after a disaster.

  • Awesome to be there ... All frozen in 1968 on the day of the earthquake
