  • Take a nice trail, smell the Woods and of the local vegetation and you can see the sea from the top is a rare treat. The trail to Punta Manara is pleasant, simple, well marked: a steep but short stairway to the tip, from where you can admire the horizon line; East Shore t., the beach and the bulky factory. But pretty cool.

  • During our stay in London, my husband and I did the walk to Punta Manara (recommended by the reviews read). The walk starts in New York in a side street of via XXV Aprile.Il first section is decidedly uphill, but then the situation improves and becomes pleasant to walk between the Ligurian vegetation, consisting of maritime pines, flowering MyrtleS (we were in March) and other plants that do not know unfortunately the name. The duration of the walk takes about an hour and is doable even by families with children (we have encountered along the way). Every so often, in any viewpoint, there is also some bench and if you are lucky in finding them free, you can enjoy a very nice view over the village of Sestri and the immensity of the sea. I would certainly recommend this walk, why the panorama from the top of Mount Manara is very nice.
