  • Find it on a Summit of sedimentary rock, alongside the small fortified village. Part of the exterior of the church underwent renovations in the early 1900s, but it is the Interior as being truly unique. The nave is marked by stubby columns with beautiful capitals in plant motifs, flowers and scrolls, and among the many bases, we find two very particular with authentic protectors Zoomorphic with lion heads, bear, Eagle, The complex dates back to the 10th century, although for some it may be even earlier. Rocca Santa Maria is small but beautiful, inserted in an environment of great beauty. Could be the ideal destination for an afternoon holiday.

  • Small medieval church, but nice. Remember the churches of the convents of Friars of the middle ages. Is at the end of the driveway. Recommended for events collected and with a few people, but the final effect is remarkable.

  • During a walk in the hills we allow ourselves a small detour to admire this little treasure. Despite the many transformations in the more than a thousand years of history the Church gives an impression of style that communicates a quiet serenity. Interesting Interior, in particular pillars, probably dating from the 10th century, the major capitals decorated with anthropomorphic figures and floral elements. Worth the visit.
