Piacevolissima scoperta! Davvero mozzafiato il luogo, il casale in cui sorge, il roseto. È stato bellissimo anche il tempo passato in compagnia dei proprietari, persone splendide: Roberto, dietro la c... more »Pleasant discovery! Truly breathtaking location, the House where it is located, the rose garden. It was awesome even the time spent in the company of owners, wonderful people: Roberto, behind whose philosophy of cultivation lies a great job done by science, love and respect for nature and the environment. I learned so much by talking to him. Paola who delighted us with his cooking, his sympathy and kindness. Finally the overnight in a comfortable room and friendly, where we felt at home. Will definitely be back next year during the period of blooming roses.

Si tratta di un giardino-museo in cui sono raccolti esemplari di rose antiche e tante rose non ibridate. Non aspettatevi un bel giardino con dei bei fiori. Si tratta di un ampio campo in posizione spl... more »It is a garden-Museum in which are collected specimens of old roses and many non-hybridized roses. Don't expect a nice garden with beautiful flowers. It is a large field into place beautifully overview in which were placed the rose bushes with a serpentine path that follows the contour of the land. As plants are not hybridized have many small flowers individually not very beautiful. The overall effect of each plant is to a Bush full of small flowers. The overall effect of the garden is to a hodgepodge of rose bushes, almost all pink. The owners have favored the natural look, then don't use herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. Do not prune plants (hence the garden look messy and unattractive. They say not to use irrigation even if the sprinkler system is clearly visible throughout the garden. The owners say they have placed in the garden (cultivate it seems inappropriate verb) even some plants other than roses. The thing is questionable because it has nothing to do with the Museum of the rose as if he wants to turn into a botanical garden, the road is still very, very, very, very long. In summary: the site is only interesting for fans of Botany. Anyone looking for a nice garden and beautiful flowers you'd better ask somewhere else.

Insieme ad amici ho visitato nello scorso we il Museo Giardino della Rosa antica. Il posto è molto bello, ho scoperto infatti, venendo da un giro sull'Appennino Modenese, com' è affascinante anche l'A... more »Together with friends I have visited in the past we the Museum antique Rose Garden. The place is very nice, I discovered, in fact, coming from a ride on the Modenese Apennines, it is fascinating even the Apennines, accustomed to the Alps and the Dolomites. Place on a Ridge with breathtaking views to the left and right you walk into a huge garden between rose and different plants. Calling themselves OLD ROSE Museum you'd expect to find all or at least most of the classic chess roses, Pierre Oger, Louise Odier, la Reine Victoria, comte de Chambord, Souvenir de la Malmaison, just to name a few and do not appear and the cost of €9 seems outrageous to visit a garden with roses and Rosaceae where unfortunately the weeds are the masters. kind regards Federica Mattirolo
Anna Agliettia garden without pesticides, where roses grow beautiful in a semi-natural, softened by slight stylish touches. lovely welcome, interesting explanations and magnificent views. so many nooks and crannies to discover and many different blooms. not only for lovers of roses.
Martina CorradiI was expecting a little more roses the best thing is that it is uncrowded and there are many places in which sit to observe nature and the landscape with typical Apennine Badlands.
Susanna De PietriPoor and badly maintained I would say even dear quel.che offers
Francesco Angiuswonderful place
Franca Franchithe place is magical at any time of the year, obviously in peak bloom of Roses is sublime! The hospitality of the hosts is gorgeous, what else to tell you ... GO THERE
