  • The sanctuary is situated on one of the higher hills of the Basso Monferrato near Serralunga di Crea, and definitely worth a visit. Place of peace and devotion is everything right with the title of a Unesco World Heritage site. Here is the beautiful wooden Madonna with baby and you can admire the precious frescoes in the Cappella di Santa Margherita. Around, the trail that winds toward the 23 Chapels of Sacro Monte natural park, allows you to enter a pristine wooded landscape in total silence and meditation.

  • Taking advantage of the beautiful day we decide to visit this mountain. Very nice, a beautiful winter day immersed in nature in anticipation of spring. beautiful stations. an hour's walk to see them well all over the Sanctuary which they really deserve.

  • Generally I don't like doing reviews: you must respect the work and expertise of others, especially in gastronomy. but this time I feel a bit like the critic Ego of Ratatouille in search of "perspective" and instead I was somewhat disappointed. 4 characters in search of food: a vegetarian who doesn't eat cheese, a "normal" ciliaca and 2. The local-I am told-has a great focus on "several problematic" such as vegans, vegatariani and celiac disease. Of course, at the time of booking, the specs are illustrated. I emphasize that the two "normal" you are deemed to be fulfilled, the ciliaca no. There was no wine list (strange anomaly for a restaurant ... but who knows) ... I got an appetizer: peppers with bagna cauda, minimal consistency dish drowned excessively in the oil or even a packet of crackers without gluten (the "moderate" costs 10 euro), as first I was offered a plate of gluten free noodles with tomato sauce, saw that there were only carnivorous sauces and even here the oil was redundant and excessive. Good mixed vegetable dish with great mashed cauliflower ... Overall I would recommend it only to those who have no intolerances and carnivorous cuisine.
