  • Place to rest in peace, close to God and away from bitterness and the daily pain! I recommend going to find inner peace.

  • Unique place, close to other places as exceptional as the area of Santa Maria and Mongiana. Nice also the Museum

  • The Charterhouse of Serra is a unreal, the ends of the Earth: the facade survived the earthquake of 1783, the ruined Tower, the statue of St. Michael slaying Lucifer, are all images that transport us in bygone days. Recommend a visit early in the morning or at sunset. If you come with the right intention you will not regret it. ...

  • Definitely unique and glamorous for the location and the natural environment. For believers like me, where can you find inner peace in silence broken only by Gregorian chants. Unfortunately you cannot visit the certosa in accordance with the rules of the cloistered monks that it hosts. Is certainly fascinating to discover the history of San Bruno through etdo narrative inside the Museum which, in my opinion, is little noticed. An easy hike that combines inner and outer worlds welfare. ... is in the mountains and if you go in summer you rebuild. Not to be missed!

  • There are still the Carthusian monks. Until a few years ago was partly open. It also tells that it is withdrawn the American pilot who dropped the first atomic bomb.

  • It's a fabulous place, and not too big. Also there is a Charterhouse in Padula, but apart from lovely, dedicated to San Lorenzo. Instead, this hotel in San Bruno (Holy Emperor of Carthusian order).
